Hanover, NJ – Performance Rehabilitation Intensive Weekend: via Running Mechanics – August 3-4, 2024

Event Date:

03,Sat Aug 2024

Event Time:

09:00 AM

Event Location:

Myokinetix Physical Therapy & Performance , East Hanover

Please join us for a two-day continuing-education event focused on return-to-play and rehabilitation using advanced running and sprinting techniques. This event piggy-backs on the content of our Running Mechanics Professional Level 1 and Level 2 courses, integrating advanced technologies and coaching methods for performance, fitness and rehabilitation professionals.

We will cover a wide range of content over the 15 hour course weekend, incorporating a significant amount of practical demonstrations of proven techniques used at the highest levels of professional, Olympic and collegiate sports. The intent of the course experience is to present complex concepts and theories, while simplifying them significantly so that professionals can easily implement all of these techniques the very next day in their practice.

We will begin the event with a detailed analysis of running mechanics, and how these metrics and techniques play an important role in your assessment methods, your treatment protocols and your maintenance programs following a successful rehabilitation process. It is important for all practitioners to understand how to make someone a better runner — whether it is for performance enhancement or injury resiliency. More efficient movement will only reduce wear-and-tear and reduce the risk of injury. Our process will also allow all practitioners to develop a more precise “coaching-eye” so that that can pin-point problems early in their assessment, even if they are simply working off of a remote video clip.
